What's New in Trackops: December 2025

New: Read-only Case Statuses

  • It is now possible to mark a case status as "Read-only".  When cases are in a read-only status, they cannot be edited or modified. In addition, new information (i.e. files, updates, subjects, expenses, invoices, etc...) cannot be added to the case.
  • Inbound case updates will not be added to Read-only cases, and will instead be redirected to Inbound Messages.
  • This new feature prevents clients and staff from inadvertently adding new case information on closed cases or previous instances where the case should no longer be receiving updates.

New: Trackops International Language Support

  • Trackops now supports additional languages for international teams!
  • Languages currently supported are:
    • English
    • Spanish
    • French
    • Slovenian
    • Czech
  • Language support is currently not available for mobile and desktop applications.
  • Language selection on user profiles has been limited to supported languages.  For additional language support, open a support ticket to request Trackops in your preferred language!

Updated: Invoice Communication Improvements

  • It is now possible to attach additional case files when sending an invoice by email. This means you can attach reports, receipts, or other documents attached to a case directly when sending the invoice itself.   Note: It is still possible to send the invoice to the case (as a PDF) to perform similar functionality.
  • Trackops now supports up to three (3) billing emails on each client and/or location.  For customers with clients that require multiple recipients on every invoice, it is now possible to configure additional billing email addresses on the client or location profile.

Other Enhancements

  • Template variables now include additional variants for address style custom fields.  In addition to the full address that already exists, each address field now includes template variables for the following data points:
    • Address Line 1
    • Address Line 2
    • Address Line 3
    • City
    • State
    • Zip
    • Country
  • Document Templates now support a custom filename template. Using template variables, you can now customize the naming strategy used when documents are generated. For example, you may wish to include the date, subject name or other information in your generated document filename.
  • New API endpoints have been added:
  • Generated PDFs (case sheets and printed invoices) now include cleaner and easier to read formatting.
