AI Data Privacy and Service Availability

Data Privacy and Service Availability

Data Privacy

The data used to generate content through AI in Trackops is sandboxed and cannot be used by AWS or other third parties for any purpose outside of your intended use case.  This means that data is not used or shared with machine learning technologies, AI development, or any other parties.  Furthermore, submitted data is encrypted at rest and immediately deleted after summary generation is complete.

Service Availability

By using AI technologies within Trackops, you are agreeing to the Trackops Responsible AI Policy, which is incorporated into our Terms of Service.  Trackops reserves the right to disable or remove AI capabilities from customers who abuse these services.

If you do not wish to allow access to Trackops AI features, you can disable them system wide via your User Security Settings.

Trackops offers multiple AI Providers.  By default, Trackops will use the provider that works best for the job at hand.  If you do not wish to utilize alternate AI providers, you can update your AI Provider Preference via your User Security Settings to allow Amazon only AI Models.

Important Notes for AI Usage in Canada

Because AWS does not support native AI functionality in Canadian regions, Trackops makes these features available through cross-region inference. AI requests are routed through the US using the cross-region inference feature in order to generate an AI response and then sent back to the the Canadian region for storage.  Amazon guarantees that when cross-region inference is used, data is only transient and used for processing. All data storage, logging, and other activities are maintained in the Canadian region for compliance.

Important Notes for AI Usage in Australia

Amazon does not support AI functionality in any AU/Pacific regions for newer AI models. Currently, all AI requests in the Australian data center are run using Amazon Nova version 1.  We are exploring options to incorporate newer AI models in Australia while maintaining data protection requirements.
